Family grants/funding: Provide funds to families that aid in promoting personal development of individuals with Down syndrome (these funds will be granted on an individual request basis for camps, horseback riding, educational tools, etc.)
Dads Appreciating Down Syndrome (D.A.D.S.)
An organization that assists and supports, through fellowship and action, the fathers and families of individuals with Down syndrome. The Lancaster D.A.D.S. group meets for dinner on the third Wednesday of the month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

EARS opened in November 1970 to train mentally disabled individuals to become productive and contributing members of the community.
S. June Smith Center
The S. June Smith Center supports children with developmental needs through education, therapeutic services, and family-centered programming. It also provides Miracles in Motion and S.P.L.A.S.H. (Sound Play and Language Awareness Story Hour) for children ages 2 and 3 of all abilities. They also have a resource library.
